Hair is a very personal thing and if I’m honest, I’m pretty scared of changing my hair colour after some pretty bad experiences over the years. And I’m definitely not the only one. I’ve spoken to countless friends and family members who are all hesitant to change anything. That being said, we all seem to prefer more natural looking, anti-trendy hair tones these days, which definitely makes the whole idea of a new look seem a lot less scary.
From honey blonde to dark brown, there are so many stunning hair shades to choose from, but which colors will stand the test of time? I spoke to AndrewDylanCelebrity hairstylist who has worked with stars such as Uma Thurman, Emma Chamberlain and Charli Howardto find out what hair color trends we can expect to see everywhere this season, and after analyzing each one, I just know that they will remain in style for years to come.
There are plenty of natural-looking shades to choose from that are perfect for the transition from summer to fall, and I already know which color I’m considering. In fact, I like this shade so much that I’ve probably already booked a hair appointment to try it out for myself…
5 anti-trend hair colors you should try now
1. Honey blonde
We start with honey blonde hair. “This summer, warm blonde tones are the hit,” says Dylan. “Lindsay Lohan is an iconic redhead who currently sports honey blonde hair.” With subtle tones of amber, blonde, and even copper, this palette is perfect for transitioning into the fall months.
This shade looks stunning on all hair types and creates a beautiful warm contrast to your usual blonde hair color.
