50 Cent counters comedian Luenell’s claim that female comedians are not sufficiently represented at the Louisiana show

50 Cent just fired back at comedian Luenell in the most 50 Cent way.

“Proof that you can’t please everyone,” 50 Cent said, making it clear that there was no malice. “I love Luenell’s work; that’s why I put her in ‘Ghost.’ We saw that her big ass was already booked, so we didn’t ask.”

Luenell expressed her frustration in an interview with Comedy Hype News, criticizing the lack of female comedians on the program. Here’s what she said:

“Not a single female comedian was on the plane to the show,” she noted. While expressing her admiration for 50 Cent and his work on “Power,” she continued, “The audience for these shows is both men and women.”

Then she wasn’t available anyway, which is odd. Luenell said she had other commitments, saying, “I’m booked and busy anyway.”

OK, so the event in question was the Humor & Harmony Festival, which took place in Shreveport, Louisiana, August 8-11. 50 promoted it by saying, “You don’t want to miss this, over 29,000 people have already signed up. Go to HumorHarmonyWeekend.com. Boom. 36,000 Super Bowls of comedy and music. Wait to see who confirms.”

In case you missed it, the lineup included Katt Williams, DC Young Fly, 2 Chainz, Tank, Monifah, Ray J, Bill Bellamy, Jeremih, French Montana, DaBaby and Lavell Crawford.

Maybe 50 and Leunell will work together soon. That might be in their best interest and they’ll just get the sack. Maybe they’ll have an all-female comedy show in the future. Just by the way.
