Right now, colors that are extremely low-maintenance are trending.”
The benefit of this approach, she says, is that these lower-maintenance shades “have more depth and muted dimensions for movement.” The downside: It doesn’t satisfy the urge for a major hair change that so many people experience. That’s where the next wave of trends comes in: lighter blondes, copper highlights and bold, one-step colors.
