The Bihar School Examination Board, Patna has successfully conducted the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) to determine the eligibility of candidates for secondary and higher secondary level teaching posts. The Bihar STET examination consists of two parts: Examination 1 for secondary and higher secondary level teachers (grades 9-10) and Examination 2 for higher secondary level teachers (grades 11-12).
This year, 359,489 candidates have appeared for Exam 1 and 237,442 candidates for Exam 2. Candidates need to secure the minimum marks to pass the exams. Applicants in general category need to secure at least 50% while candidates from SC/ST/PWD/Women categories need 40% for Bihar STET exam 2024.

Bihar STET Result 2024 – Normalization Process
Bihar Schools Examination Board is adopting a normalization method to prepare the Bihar STET Result 2024. The board has done this because the Bihar State Teacher Eligibility Test was held in different shifts and the difficulty level of the exam was also different. So that no candidate gets any additional advantage or disadvantage, the authorities have adopted this procedure.
A candidate may be considered pass or fail based on the normalized score. For example: – If a candidate scores 76 out of 150 and his/her normalized score is 74.90, he/she may be considered fail.
