Wynonna Judd’s daughter Grace Kelley arrested again, charged with fleeing police and more

Grace Kelley is in trouble again.

Just months after her arrest for prostitution in Millbrook, Alabama, Grace Kelley was arrested again in Georgia.

According to Page Six, Kelley was booked into the Carroll County Jail last weekend. Public records indicate he was charged with fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, driving on a suspended or revoked license and improperly using his motorcycle equipment.

She was released on $2,750 bail.

In April, Kelley was arrested and was booked into the Elmore County Jail on a charge of public nuisance. She was also charged with obstructing governmental operations. Police say she “exposed her breasts and lower body” at the intersection of I-65 and Highway 14 and when confronted by officers, she sat down on the side of the road and refused to comply. Solicitation of prostitution was later added to the charge.

Millbrook Police Chief PK Johnson said the charges were added after Kelley allegedly stood on the side of the road holding up a sign that read “A Ride For A Ride” while exposing her breasts and other private body parts to passing vehicles.

According to Johnson:

“We responded to two calls concerning her. The first was when she was observed in the area of stores on Highway 14 near Murphy Oil at Walmart. She had a sign posted that said ‘One Ride for One Ride.’

And when she contacted our officers, she discussed with them the legality of what she was doing. And that it was not illegal to offer rides.”

The 28-year-old is the daughter of Wynonna and her first husband Arch Kelley and the granddaughter of the late Naomi Judd. Kelley has been in and out of prison for drug offenses for several years.

She was arrested in 2016 for manufacturing, selling, and distributing methamphetamine. She was sentenced to 8 years in prison, but pleaded guilty in exchange for probation and court-ordered rehab. She dropped out of treatment early and was sent to prison in 2018. She was released on parole in 2019 and arrested again in 2021 for violating probation.

In May 2023, she was rearrested for a parole violation and released from the Putnam County Jail five months later, in October 2023.

Blames her grandmother’s death for her unhappiness

After her arrest in April, Grace spoke out and blamed her grandmother for all her legal problems. In a conversation from prison with the New York Post, Grace has stated that she has not spoken to her mother or anyone in her family in some time and believes that they have blocked her number.

“I think she blocked my number. My mom thinks I’m on drugs, right? She wants me to go to rehab. But when I went to prison, I took a drug test and passed. I don’t do drugs.

My mother doesn’t listen to me, she doesn’t believe me. She thinks I’m doing crazy shit here.”

I guess the definition of “crazy shit” is pretty subjective, right?

I mean, some would argue that having a lengthy criminal record of being in and out of prison for drug offenses for the past 5 years would be considered “crazy shit.” You could also argue that being arrested for prostitution while flashing a “Ride for a Ride” sign at people could also be considered “crazy shit.”

But as I said, I think this is quite subjective…

She also believes that her grandmother’s suicide could be responsible for all this bad luck:

“I don’t know if my grandma cursed me when she shot herself.”

She denied the allegations to the New York Postand said she was clothed when she was picked up and that she was mistreated by police. She says she was tied to a chair for days and given no food or water.
