The Titusville City Council will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 13th at City Hall to discuss a number of agenda items.
These include grants to combat fentanyl, support for environmental projects, and decisions on city contracts and ordinances.
- Fentanyl eradication: The Council will consider accepting a federal grant to combat the fentanyl crisis to enable the purchase of equipment, training and other resources.
- Environmental subsidies: Letters of support are approved for two grant applications to the Florida Department of Environmental Protection: one for shade structures for trails and another for a water flow feasibility study.
- City contracts: Several contracts are pending approval, including retiree health plans, utility projects, paving work and roof repairs.
- Regulations: Council will conduct public hearings and consider final readings on ordinances relating to Small Scale Comprehensive Plan Amendment No. 3-2022 and Comprehensive Plan Regular Amendment No. 2-2024 (Text), both of which relate to the Bristol Titusville development.
- Miscellaneous: Also on the agenda are items such as the reallocation of funds from the American Rescue Plan Act, a budget amendment for water production and a discussion on the exemption of sewer fees.
