Arcane leaker has just released full episodes of another Netflix series

The leak about the second season of Arcane was just the beginning – episodes of another upcoming Netflix series are already circulating on the Internet.

Late last week, Netflix suffered one of the largest security breaches in streaming history, starting with anime projects like Terminator Zero, Dandadan, and Mappa’s remake of Ranma 1/2.

With “Arcane Season 2” and “Heartstopper Season 3” it went even further: entire episodes of both series were leaked on the Internet and one of those responsible (Jace Johnson) announced that there will be significant leaks about “Stranger Things Season 5” and “Sonic 3” in the next few days.

Johnson has since revealed his latest leak: Jentry Chau vs. the Underworld, Netflix’s animated series starring Ali Wong, which is set to arrive later this year. As with the other leaks, the episodes are not necessarily finished and feature hard-coded timestamps and a “Property of Netflix” watermark.

Kal Athannassov, a character design supervisor on the series, urged viewers to ignore the leaks and wait for the official release. “Several high-profile shows have apparently been leaked recently – one of them being Jentry Chau vs. The Underworld,” he wrote.

“Please don’t watch our shows this way – I know you’re excited – but please wait until they’re released in the format they were intended to be. It only hurts the projects.”

It is unlikely that Jentry Chau or any of the other Netflix projects will be delayed. For example, Riot Games has assured fans that Arcane Season 2 will be released in November 2024. However, the leaks can still be damaging; if everyone sees it illegalNetflix’s viewership could suffer, reducing the chances of another season.

Netflix has been forthright in its response to the leaks. In a statement to The Wrap, a spokesperson said: “One of our post-production partners was compromised and footage from several of our titles has unfortunately been leaked online.”

“Our team is taking vigorous steps to remove it.”

Crunchyroll also announced that it has “launched an investigation to identify the source of this leak and our team is taking action to remediate it.”
