It’s a family affair.
Keke Palmer and her ex Darius Jackson met up for an outing with their son Leodis over the weekend – months after she dropped the restraining order and custody battle against her former partner.
Jackson (also known as Darius Daulton) shared a photo of himself and the “Nope” actress walking the one-year-old on his Instagram stories on Sunday.
In the photo, the father of one poses while holding Leodis in his arms, while Palmer, 30, grins broadly at the sight of her son.
The former True Jackson, VP student dressed casually for the hike, wearing black shorts, a green top, white Nike Air Force 1 sneakers and a large straw hat. She also carried an orange purse and a purple and blue spray fan.
Jackson also dressed casually for the outing, wearing green New Balance shorts, a sleeveless gray shirt, a green baseball cap and white sneakers.
“The boy and his people,” he wrote at the top of the snapshot.
The ex-partners’ family reunion comes three months after Palmer dropped the restraining order and custody battle against Jackson.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, the domestic violence restraining order hearing scheduled for July 16, 2024 was canceled after the “Hustlers” star’s attorney filed the documents.
It is unclear why the hearing was canceled, but it appears Jackson and Palmer have settled the matter behind the scenes after agreeing, subject to a subpoena, to attend mediation in December 2023.
The couple’s dispute became public last summer when Jackson tweeted his disapproval of the see-through Givenchy dress the “Alice” star wore to Usher’s residency show in Las Vegas.
“It’s the outfit, but you’re a mom,” he wrote in a now-deleted tweet in July 2023 alongside a viral video by Palmer, who is serenaded by the R&B musician.
In November 2023, Palmer accused Jackson of physical abuse, claiming he destroyed her personal property, threw her belongings into the street, beat her in front of her son, and threatened to kill herself if she left him.
She also applied for a temporary injunction and sole custody and residence rights.
The following month, Jackson hit back at Palmer’s allegations, claiming that she was actually the aggressor in the relationship.
In court documents obtained by Page Six at the time, the fitness trainer claimed that Palmer “punched” him in the face “at a birthday party” on August 20, 2021, and allegedly choked and punched him during an altercation on February 28, 2022.
He also claimed that the former Nickelodeon star verbally abused him while under the influence of alcohol, calling him a “bitch,” “punk ass,” and “loser.”
Jackson and Palmer began dating in 2021 after meeting at a Memorial Day party.
In February 2023, their son Leodis was born.
