NYCC Exclusive: Battle Quest Comics’ Young No’Madds #1 Releases with Rare Cover and Preview of Another New Book in 2025

Exclusive releases are an absolute must at major comic cons, and there will be no shortage of them from creators and companies at New York Comic Con 2024. This year, look out for an exclusive variant of Battle Quest’s Young No’Madds #1, which will not only have a new cover by Aaron McConnell and Laura Martin, but will also include an exclusive preview of the publisher’s big 2025 release, The 27 Run: Crash.
Young No’Madds tells the story of two young adventurers competing to obtain a legendary weapon that will save their land from invaders who have stolen their lives and killed many of their friends and relatives. The Young No’Madds is written by Andrew Kafoury and Matt Keener, with art by Aaron McConnell and colorist Jeremy Colwell.
“The beauty of the book is that it presents so many compelling and classic entertainment moments in a fresh, new story,” says Kafoury.

Battle Quest Comics will distribute these NYCC exclusive copies of Young No’Madds #1 on a first-come, first-served basis (with an email address or ID scan) starting Thursday, October 17, 2024—but with a print run of 1,500 copies and 200,000 people expected for the four-day event, they’ll go fast.
The regular issue of Young No’Madds #1 goes on sale on October 9, but the NYCC exclusive issue will be available – you guessed it – exclusively at the Battle Quest booth at NYCC 2024 later that month.
