The Braxtons comes to WEtv, more than three years after the entertainer family last graced the small screen with Braxton Family ValuesThe new show follows the Braxton sisters and family matriarch Evelyn as they try to juggle new gigs and commitments while coping with the death of Traci Braxton, who died of cancer in 2022 at the age of 50.
In a press release, WEtv explains: “The series will showcase previously unseen private moments, from quarantine to the devastating loss of her sister Traci. Viewers will also be able to share in her life as she builds this new chapter without her.”
This season will also see Toni launch her Las Vegas program, Love and Laughter, with Cedric the Entertainer, while Tamar attempts a comeback to the music and acting scene. Towanda takes on a new role, caring for Traci’s son, Kevin, while trying to juggle her own family responsibilities. And viewers will see Trina pursue new business opportunities while caring for “two sons navigating adult life.” And what about Evelyn? WEtv says, “Ms. Evelyn is determined to help her daughters heal together by turning pain into hope, using pain to empower themselves and bond together.”
