How is Deadpool and Wolverine’s relationship portrayed in the Marvel comic? Exploring the Winter Soldier’s role in bonding the duo

In Deadpool & Wolverine, the Logan actor appeared on the big screen alongside Ryan Reynolds in the latest Marvel film. While the film explores the relationship between Deadpool and Wolverine, the comics also mention the connection between the superheroes, who faced each other over the Winter Soldier.

According to the comics’ plot, Logan and Wade Wilson were enemies. The film’s narrative shows Wilson initially realizing that his buddy is from different timelines, and as the duo begins working against evil, they become friends.

However, the book revealed that it was the Winter Soldier and his sidekick Bucky who were enemies with Wolverine. Not only did they try to destroy the X-Men variant, but they also murdered Logan’s lover Itsu and his unborn child, who was later found to be living under the name Daken. The Winter Soldier then hired Deadpool to kill Wolverine.

After the duo faced off in a fight, they nearly pushed each other to death. After a brutal fight and a series of unavoidable traps, Deadpool also tries to kill Logan by drowning him in the pool. When his son learns about the incident, Daken saves his father and fights Wade Wilson. After the fight, fans were left to find out whether or not Deadpool and Wolverine ever met again.

Like in the Marvel film, the duo not only interacted with each other in multiple timelines, but also became friends at the end. The film also features fights with claws and weapons, but they form a team against Cassandra Nova’s evil. The film was well received by audiences and was declared a super hit at the box office.

While Deadpool & Wolverine thrilled viewers with its mega action experience, the cameos also caused a stir. Blade star Wesley Snipes, Channing Tatum as Gambit and Jennifer Garner, who played Elecktra, were back in the film. Marvel heroes Chris Hemsworth and Chris Evans also made an appearance.

Deadpool & Wolverine is a success in cinemas.
