Kenney Kelley talks about his indecision in the competition

For some, Kenney Kelley will go down in Big Brother history as one of the few houseguests who was better off staying home. For others, he is one of the few houseguests who can proudly say they won the Golden Power of Veto. But for us, he is a Big Brother Player who gave his all, even when he was no longer emotionally involved.

Kenney had during his short time in the Big Brother House because he was missing his wife and children very much. It was getting exhausting for the house (and the fans) to constantly hear how much Kenney wanted to go home, and rather than hear about it for another week, the house made the decision to send Kenney out once and for all.

Given the events and the many emotions that were involved, Kenney wants to set the record straight. He believes fans aren’t getting the full story.

Show Snob had the chance to ask Big Brother Houseguest Kenney Kelley talks about his time in the house. We asked him burning questions that everyone wanted to know. In particular, why he was so lukewarm in the house despite having the opportunity of a lifetime that many would have killed for.

Without further ado, here is how Kenney Kelley (along with his adorable children) spent his time in the Big Brother Season 26 House:

Show Snob: If you were already out of the game, why would you have won the Power of Veto in the second week? Did you change your mind momentarily?

I never mentally left the game. I struggled because I missed my family. It was a balancing act between trying to stay in the game and losing my family – which I couldn’t shake – but it was always good for me once the HOH and Power of Veto competitions started. Those days were really good for me because I wanted to stay and make alliances. But it was the time off that really got to me.

Show Snob: Let’s say we’ve cured your homesickness. If you had the chance to form the alliance of your dreams, who would be in it? Why?

Matt (Hardeman) was the person I wanted to build something with. Matt, MJ, Leah, Cedric, Cam and Tucker would have been my choice for the first group. And then Tucker, Cedric and Matt would have separated me a little bit to stay close because I think we would be strong both mentally and physically competing.

Show Snob: In what ways do you think your skills as an undercover agent would have been useful? In what ways do you think your upbringing in Boston would have been useful?

I use my skills as an undercover cop to help families with drug addicts, so I didn’t want to manipulate my career to get ahead in the business. I wish I had started out by being a cop instead of hiding it.

Show Snob: If you could choose the order, which three people would you see go next?

Brooklyn, Angela and Joseph.
