Mark Pope once said that Club Blue was “the centre of our entire NIL life at the moment” and “The The most important thing for Kentucky in its future efforts to build the program’s roster.
Now you can drink a cold beer (or three) and support the cause.
Club Blue has partnered with Louisville-based Gravely Brewing to brew a beer called Kentucky Blue Light to support UK Athletics’ NIL efforts. According to KSR’s Matt Jones, all proceeds will benefit Club Blue – and Kentucky’s ability to attract top talent in the future.
The beer is listed in the “Sporty Spice Suds” category on Gravely Brewing’s website, alongside UofL Athletics’ equivalent, the cardinal.

Club Blue members can donate directly to Kentucky’s men’s basketball, women’s basketball, football, baseball, volleyball, softball and tennis teams, or any sport. This includes one-time NIL contributions or monthly and annual subscriptions that include exclusive access to the Club Blue merchandise store, monthly giveaways, signed items, meet-and-greets with players, VIP in-game fan experiences and much, much more.
“Listen, Club Blue is real,” Pope said previously. “…We have some great people helping us get this thing off the ground. There’s no overhead with this program. 100% of the money goes exactly where we want it.”
“It’s all for us and for this program,” added assistant coach Cody Fueger.
