The management of Lang & Schwander has expanded its portfolio by acquiring a hotel in southeastern Switzerland, thereby making a strategic investment in the hospitality industry.
Sebastian Lang and Marcus Schwander, co-founders of the renowned hotel interior design firm Lang & Schwander, have acquired the historic Hotel Engadinerhof in Pontresina, southeastern Switzerland.
Although the financial details of the transaction were not disclosed, the acquisition represents an important milestone for the company.
Founded in 1905, the 85-room hotel features a dining venue, Pizzeria Nostra, which serves a breakfast buffet and a four-course dinner with various main course options.
Conveniently located just a short walk from Bellavita Water Park and Spa and a variety of shopping options, the property offers easy access to local attractions.
The Lang & Schwander team will take over the operation of the hotel and has announced plans to renovate both the common areas and guest rooms to increase the appeal of the property.
