DC Comics has announced a new collaboration with The Hero Initiative with The Superman 100 Project. The new limited edition hardcover and the wider softcover edition, which will be released on December 18, contain the 100 best drawings by artists on the blank-wrapped cardboard editions of Superman #6. Artists include Alan Davis, Kevin Eastman, José Luis García-López, Dan Jürgens, Ed McGuinness, Frank Miller, Frank Quitely and more!

The original sketch covers will be auctioned off starting in October. A limited edition hardcover copy will also be available directly from Hero Initiative and Third Eye Comics on December 18th.

LOS ANGELES, CA (August 16, 2024) – The Hero Initiative, the charity that helps comic book creators in medical and financial need, is celebrating comics’ first and greatest superhero, Superman, in a big way!

In 2023, DC Comics produced a few blank cardboard editions of Superman #6, and since then the Hero Initiative has asked 100 top artists to make original drawings directly on the covers. The result is The Superman 100 Projectwill be published on December 18th as a paperback (softcover) with all original sketch covers.
