New seasons for spinoffs of “RuPaul’s Drag Race”

The RuPaul’s Drag Race universe just expanded with new series orders.

When starting RuPaul’s Drag Race – Global All StarsMTV and Paramount+ have ordered more RuPaul’s Drag Race, RuPaul’s Drag Race: Untucked, RuPaul’s Drag Race All Seasonsrs and RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars: Not Hidden.

That means RuPaul’s Drag Race is entering its 17th season on MTV. After its first appearance on Logo in 2009, Drag racing has since expanded internationally, with local editions in the UK, Canada and Australia featuring local “queens” and catwalk challenges.

RuPaul’s Drag RaceMTV’s signature reality competition series and its spin-offs are all produced by World of Wonder Productions. RuPaul is an executive producer Drag racing with Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato from World of Wonder.

Also back with a new season order is the Emmy-winning aftershow RuPaul’s Drag Race: Untucked. The latest extension of the Drag racing Empire follows RuPaul, who receives his ninth consecutive Emma nomination for most outstanding host of a reality or reality competition series.

The flagship RuPaul’s Drag Race The series was nominated in eight Emmy categories. RuPaul’s Drag Race – Global All Stars premieres August 16 on Paramount+, with drag queens competing for the title of “Queen of the Mothertucking World,” a grand prize of $200,000, and a spot in the Drag Race Hall of Fame’s International Pavilion.

The US edition of Drag racing has worked at several cable networks in today’s Paramount ecosystem, from the LGBTQ channel Logo to VH1 to MTV and streaming on Paramount+.
