GPSC Recruitment 2024 : Gujarat Public Service Commission has invited online applications for the 300 posts of State Tax Inspector Class 3. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online for these posts latest by August 31, 2024.
Selection for these posts is based on the performance of the candidates in the selection test, the selection procedure and the main written examination.

GPSC 2024 Eligibility Criteria
- A candidate should hold a degree from any of the universities established or incorporated by or under any Central or State law in India; or any other educational institution recognised as such or deemed to be a university under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, or any equivalent qualification recognised by the Government; and
- Basic knowledge of computer application as per Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules 1967;
- Have adequate knowledge of Gujarati and/or Hindi. A candidate who has cleared or is planning to clear the examination of the last semester/year of the required qualification or is awaiting the result can apply. However, the candidate has to prove and submit the required qualification as advertised before the last date for submission of the main examination. Also, the candidate must be 20 years of age on the last day of online application.

Age limit
Minimum age: Must be 20 years old on the last day of the ad
Maximum age: Must not be older than 35 years on the last display date

GPSC STI 2024 Salary Scale
Candidates finally selected for these posts will be paid Rs. 49,600/- (Fixed Salary) for 5 years. Rs. 39,900 – 1,26,600/- Pay Matrix Step No. 7.
