Bloomsburg man attacks women in Lewisburg hotel |Lewisburg, Pennsylvania – NorthcentralPa.com reports: A 39-year-old man who suspected a woman of infidelity was arrested on assault charges after police were called to a Lewisburg hotel.

Robert Kressler of Bloomsburg was arrested Aug. 9 after police responded to the Relax Inn in East Buffalo Township for a domestic dispute. The complainant told police she and Kressler were staying at the hotel when the two began arguing over suspected infidelity, according to the affidavit filed by Patrolman Quaylin Rice of the Buffalo Valley Regional Police Department.

The plaintiff told Kressler she wanted to leave and went to the hotel office to tell them what was going on. When she returned to the room, Kressler was gone. Moments later, he returned and kicked the door in. Kressler went into the room and allegedly grabbed the woman by the hair, headbutted her and threw her against the bedpost, according to the affidavit.

The plaintiff kicked Kressler to get him off her and dragged her to the ground, where he kicked her while threatening her, Rice said.

Police charged Kressler with simple assault, terroristic threats and related charges. District Judge Jeffrey A. Rowe set bail at $3,000 with 10 percent bond.
