Emmy, Grammy and Oscar-winning composer Danny Elfman returns to the Hollywood Bowl on Saturday, November 2 with his show featuring music from his television, film and solo career.

Tickets for “From Boingo to Batman to Big Mess and Beyond!” will be available to the general public beginning at 10 a.m. Friday, August 16 at Ticketmaster.com. An artist presale begins at 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 14, and a local presale will be available beginning at 10 a.m. Thursday, August 15. Citi cardholders can access presale tickets from 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 13 through Thursday, August 15 and view full presale details via citientertainment.com.

This one-night concert in Southern California is the fully expanded version of the show he premiered over two nights at the Hollywood Bowl in October 2022. In an interview with the Southern California News Group in 2022, Elfman said that after his performance at the Coachella Music and Arts Festival, he had plenty of music left over that he couldn’t play at the festival shows because he had to keep the show compact.

The upcoming show will feature Johnny Jewel x Desire support, and Elfman will be backed by an all-star rock band including Stu Brooks on bass (Dub Trio, Lady Gaga), Nili Brosh on guitar (Dethklok), Robin Finck on guitar (Nine Inch Nails, Guns N’ Roses), and Ilan Rubin on drums (Nine Inch Nails, Angels & Airwaves). Fans of Oingo Boingo will also get to see the group’s original guitarist, Steve Bartek, conducting the same live orchestra he played during his performances at Coachella.

Attendees can expect performances of songs from Oingo Boingo, Elfman’s solo career, including his 2021 album “Big Mess,” and several of his film scores, including “Alice in Wonderland,” “Batman,” “Edward Scissorhands,” “Nightmare Before Christmas,” “Beetlejuice,” “The Simpsons,” “Wednesday” and more.
