A British tourist fell to his death in front of his horrified girlfriend after tripping over a wall following a night of drinking in a four-star hotel.
The unnamed 28-year-old fell over the wall at the hotel entrance and suffered a 4.5-meter fall before landing on the ground next to the hotel’s hot tub.
The alarm was triggered at the four-star Reverence Mare Hotel in Palma Nova near Magaluf at around 7 a.m. this morning.
The dead man’s partner had to be treated for a panic attack later that day. Paramedics were called to the hotel shortly before noon.

The Guardia Civil is leading the ongoing investigation into the incident.
There has been no official statement from the police yet.
A well-informed source said last night: “We are still awaiting the autopsy results, but at this stage we are treating this as a tragic accident.”
The adults-only hotel is located in the picturesque resort of Palma Nova in Mallorca and is just a stone’s throw from a stunning beach.
