October 15, 2024
It’s October 15, 2024, and all of Illinois should be awash in color. In the weeks that follow, you’ll see the leaves in the northern part of the state start to lose their color. But there’s one last date when you might be able to catch a glimpse of fall color in Illinois.
4 November 2024
During the first week of November, the southern tip of Illinois will actually still be at or near its peak. This won’t last long, as most fall colors will have faded by mid-November.
