What happened on Thursday, August 8, on “Big Brother”?
The episode began in the aftermath of Wednesday’s wild Power of Veto ceremony, in which Cedric Hodges nominated Makensy Manbeck instead of Angela Murray after contestant Tucker Des Lauriers eliminated Angela from the running. This left an open nomination slot alongside Tucker and Kenney Kelley as Makensy used her American Power of Veto to save herself.
Then a house meeting occurred about Quinn Martin’s Deep Fake HOH ability. Tucker thought Cedric was planning to put Quinn on the hit list, even though Cedric had previously told him he wouldn’t go through with the plan. Quinn finally admitted to everyone that he had the power after trying to keep it a secret.
Later, Tucker and Cedric got into a heated argument about the events leading up to the POV ceremony.
Afterwards, host Julie Chen Moonves announced the American nominee, and fans decided to put Quinn in the third nomination chair.
Quinn, Tucker and Kenney entered the AI Arena competition after the news, which Tucker won. Quinn and Kenney awaited eviction.
