A former Chelsea player claims there is a 60 percent chance that Napoli striker Victor Osimhen will join Chelsea this summer.
Chelsea fans will certainly be excited by news they have been eagerly awaiting: former Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel believes there is a good chance Osimhen will arrive at Stamford Bridge this summer, and he is one of those who should know.

This is because Mikel admits to communicating with Osimhen via SMS (who sends SMS these days? He must mean WhatsApp).
The former Chelsea cult hero has had a lot of interest in Osimhen this summer, with Chelsea apparently trying to negotiate some sort of deal with Napoli that would bring Osimhen to Chelsea and Romelu Lukaku to Napoli this summer.
Things have become a bit quiet

We haven’t heard much about this deal in the last few days and it seems like it has died down a bit in this poker game. But Mikel believes there is more chance of Osimhen joining Chelsea in this transfer window.
As you can see quoted above, Mikel says:
“I think the chances are 60/40 that Osimhen will come. I think he wants to come. I’ve sent him a few texts here and there and told him it’s a great club and a great city. He wants to follow in the footsteps of other Nigerians and play for Chelsea.”
So it sounds like Osimhen is keen to join Chelsea despite claims to the contrary. Let’s hope Mikel’s 60% turns out to be true.
