Thousands without power after severe storm wave in Kentucky

LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) – Emergency crews across Kentucky worked Saturday to restore power after a wave of severe storms swept through Bluegrass.

A wave of severe weather brought strong winds and rain to the Commonwealth on Saturday, leaving hundreds of customers without power.

A map of the power outages caused by Saturday’s storm showed that more than 600 customers are currently without power in Fayette County, and more than 700 customers in Clark, Lawrence and Rockcastle counties are affected by power outages.
