I just watched We are zombies the latest release from Screambox. The film begins by approaching a zombie walking down the street. Does this sound familiar? Do the similarities end there?

Check out the trailer below and then read on to find out my thoughts.

My thoughts

What I liked about this movie was the storyline and how it stayed consistent. I love the characters and the zombies. I love the music and the way they used historical figures like Mother Teresa. What I didn’t like about the movie was the amount of blood. I felt like there should have been more gore and more violence. Yes, there were a few scenes, but for my money, I could have done with more of it. I also wish they had explored the girl’s storyline more.

Final thoughts

In conclusion, I would recommend this film to anyone who likes action, horror and zombie films. Also, it is offensive so maybe don’t show it to children unless they are teenagers.

If I get the chance to watch it again, I will.

We are zombies will stream on ScreamBox from August 13th.
