World War V No. 1

The first DC vs Vampires The series ends with the return of the sun and Barbara Gordon becomes the ruler of the vampires after killing Dick Grayson. Between this series and DC vs Vampires: World War V No. 1: A truce has been reached between humans and vampires. But thanks to Damian Wayne, it may be over.

Damian learns that Barbara transports people like cattle. When Damian finds her, we see that this is not a rescue mission. Damian, Kate Kane and their followers eat them. He leaves one alive to deliver a message to Barbara.

At the end of the issue, Hush breaks into Barbara’s tower and sets off a bomb (it’s unclear if she survives). Before he dies, Hush says Damian sent him. However, this doesn’t make sense. Damian’s message was sent by one of the vampires he left alive after feeding on the humans. He wouldn’t send a message and a bomb, would he?!

People should be wondering if someone is pulling the strings and wants this war. There are too many variables for things to be as simple as they seem. The easy guess is Aquaman. He told Barbara he was OK with a war. Maybe he’s tired of the truce and wants the vampires to take over. Plus, he’s a former king who would have trouble taking orders from Barbara.

And finally, the new Batman (probably Timothy “Jace” Fox) encounters a vampire protecting a baby. The vampires pursuing the baby’s protector say the legends are true. We don’t know what it is, but years of reading and watching supernatural movies make it easy to assume: it’s probably the child of a human and a vampire. It’s a birth that shouldn’t be possible.

Whoever they are, this storyline will be the key to everything that happens. Stay tuned Bam, clap, pow to find out what it is.
