A new leak has surfaced showing the four colors of the iPhone 16 Pro lineup, and among them is a limited and unique version called Desert Titanium. Previous reports have claimed that Apple will once again use its Rose Gold colorway, a popular color option that was available on the iPhone 7 and iPhone 8 series.
However, the current link revealed that Desert Titanium is more similar to bronze than the color mentioned above.
While the color choices on the Pro series of iPhone are limited compared to the base model, not all colors are monochrome, as there are special color combinations made available on each version.
Meet “Desert Titanium,” the new iPhone 16 Pro color leaked
Well-known leaker Majin Bu has revealed new information about the color variants of Apple’s iPhone 16 Pro, including the highly anticipated special color version of the titanium-framed smartphone, which is said to be called Desert Titanium. The photos shared by the leaker only showed the camera lens frames, but these are enough to showcase the new color variant of the iPhone 16 Pro as they match the body color.
The iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max will be available in four colors, including black, white, and gray. As mentioned, Desert Titanium will be a special release color for the smartphone.
According to the leaker, Desert Titanium will be a darker shade, like the iPhone 14 Pro’s Deep Purple colorway. It will also be more subtle with its gold accents on the body.

The Desert Titanium of the iPhone 16 Pro is more of a bronze color
Previous leaks about the color of the iPhone 16 Pro series claimed it would be rose gold. However, according to 9to5Mac, this will no longer be the case if the latest leak is true.
As the leak reveals, the new color is more bronze than the previously rumored rose gold.
The special color variants of previous iPhone Pro versions
Most of Apple’s iPhone Pro series releases only come with four colors to choose from. The latest iPhone 15 Pro series revamps its color scheme by using a titanium frame that features a unique finish. The special color of the latest release is none other than Blue Titanium. The Natural Titanium color, a lighter shade of gold, also became the public’s favorite.
While the iPhone 14 Pro series is best known for introducing the pill-shaped notch called Dynamic Island, it also featured one of Apple’s boldest releases in terms of color. This is because the series introduced a color called Deep Purple.
In 2021, Apple introduced the iPhone 13 series, which also introduced a new Pro color called Sierra Blue, which gave off a light blue hue. This is also a first for the tech giant. The company eventually released the Alpine Green six months later.
In addition, the iPhone 11 Pro was available in Midnight Green color, while the iPhone 12 Pro was available in Pacific Blue. The colors of the iPhone 13 Pro are reminiscent of these two.
