Brooklyn Decker among the six actors of Amazon’s youth drama “The Runarounds”

Prime Video completes the series’ regular cast for The runarounds, a fictional YA drama inspired by the real band of the same name, from the creators of Outer banks and Skydance TV. Brooklyn Decker (Grace and Frankie), Maximo Salas (Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies), Marley Aliah (Remember yesterday, the devil’s territory), Hayes MacArthur (Angie Tribeca), Mark Wystrach (The eyes of Tammy Faye) and Shea Pritchard (The summer I became pretty) join the previously announced real-life band members William Lipton, Axel Ellis, Jeremy Yun, Zendé Murdock and Jesse Golliher – along with Lilah Pate and Kelley Pereira. The band previously appeared in an episode of the third season of Outer bankswhich is entering its fourth season on Netflix.

Filming will begin later this month and the series is scheduled to premiere on Prime Video in over 240 countries and regions worldwide.

How Outer banks, Set in Wilmington, North Carolina, the series, created by Jonas Pate, is about a close-knit group of young adults from all walks of life who come together the summer after graduating high school to form a rock band. The runarounds must decide whether to give in to the pressures of real life or risk everything to become the greatest band of all time.

The runarounds is produced by Skydance Television and directed by Jonas Pate (Outer Banks, Aquarius), with a screenplay by David Wilcox (666 Park Avenue, Edge). The executive producer of the series is colleague Outer banks Creators Josh Pate and Shannon Burke. David Wilcox, Joon Yun, Lisa Mae Fincannon and Scott Lambert, with David Ellison, Dana Goldberg and Matt Thunell for Skydance Television.

The series is Skydance Television’s sixth project with Amazon MGM Studios and Prime Video after Gripper And Jack Ryan from Tom Clancyand the upcoming Cross, an action-adventure series starring Octavia Spencer and Hannah Waddingham and the recently announced documentary series about the Idaho murders.
