For the Titans, guard Dillon Radunz is the one in the hot seat. In the meantime, the team was able to climb the rankings, moving up two spots to 24th in the overall standings.

Ranking after the draft: 26

Who is in the hot seat?: RG Dillon Radunz

Radunz is battling for the starting right guard spot. The path became a little easier when Radunz’s main competition, veteran offensive lineman Saahdiq Charles, abruptly retired. After bouncing back and forth between tackle and guard, Radunz was finally able to focus on one position this season. The Titans selected Radunz in the second round of the 2021 draft, putting him in the final year of his rookie contract.

Despite being on the hit list, Radunz is projected to be a starter for the Titans this season, and how long that lasts will depend on how well he plays.

As for the team itself, the slight increase is likely due to a cautious optimism that is beginning to develop. Several NFL analysts believe the Titans could be a surprise contender in 2024, with some even predicting a return to the playoffs.
