Former Detroit Lion allegedly urinated on airline passenger

Passengers on an overnight flight from Boston to Dublin witness one of the most bizarre scenes imaginable.

Gosder Cherilus, a former first-round pick of the Detroit Lions, was arrested early Sunday on his flight back to Boston after things got out of control on his Delta Air Lines flight.

Cherilus was charged with disturbing the peace and disrupting the flight crew after he failed to comply with orders to exit the aircraft before takeoff. Cherilus reportedly boarded the plane drunk and began arguing with the flight crew over his seat.

Inexplicably, about an hour into the flight, Cherilus is said to have urinated on an elderly passenger, hit another passenger, stolen his seat, and lost consciousness.

Cherlius, 40, is 6-foot-4 and played in the NFL for nine years at 325 pounds, which suggests a truly incredible scene on that flight.

Although Cherilus and his attorney did not officially speak to the press about the matter following his arraignment on Monday, Cherilus made an effort to explain the situation on his X account.

Cherilus played five of his nine NFL seasons with the Detroit Lions after being selected 17th overall in the 2008 NFL Draft out of Boston College. He started 71 games as right tackle for the Lions before playing two seasons each for the Indianapolis Colts and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

According to his X-Account, Cherilus appears to work primarily for his charity, the Gosder Charilus Foundation, and he also works with fellow former Lions Calvin Johnson and Rob Sims at the Primitiv Group, a cannabis company.
