This is the it color for fall according to Pinterest

As summer comes to an end, I want to get cozy—fluffy blankets, soft pillows, and relaxing candles. And it turns out I’m not alone. According to Pinterest’s Fall 2024 trend report, released this morning, The search for “cozy autumn moods” has increased by over 90% since this time last yearAnd even more precisely: green home decor” has seen a massive increase of 2670% in the fall of 2024which means that basically everyone looks to nature to get a relaxing autumn mood.

“Dark green bathrooms,” “green home offices,” and “forest green house” are all popular search terms for fall, as are “cozy reading room,” “cozy lighting,” and “zen kitchen.” Japanese influences in art, interior design, and garden design are also trending, highlighting that clean, simple lines and colors are currently in vogue compared to traditional plaid patterns, warm tones, and anything PSL-inspired.

Although green does Pairs perfectly with your traditional fall colors, it’s one of those shades that lasts through all four seasons. It’s the perfect backdrop for your Christmas decorations in winter, but can also be fresh and bright when spring and summer arrive.

In fact, late last year, Apartment Therapy correctly predicted that sage green would be the “it” color of 2024—especially for small spaces that already feel a bit chaotic and need a dose of zen. So I can’t say I’m surprised that green is back on trend this year. It’s clear that we can’t get enough of the relaxing nature vibes the color offers us.
