Morgan’s Wonderland | Extremely accommodating hotel

Morgan’s Wonderlandthe world’s first theme park designed and built for people with special needs, has announced plans for Morgan’s Hotel, which will be located near the park in San Antonio, Texas.

The highly accommodating hotel will exceed regular ADA requirements to provide a considerate experience for visitors of all ages and abilities.

Gordon Hartman, Founder of Morgan’s, says: “I am convinced that this new hotel concept will break down barriers and greatly improve the overnight experience for everyone. This will certainly be a hotel for everyone, including people with special needs, who will feel more included, valued and fulfilled in the future.”

We welcome guests of all ability levels

Morgan’s Hotel will offer a stylish, functional design with generous communal areas and guest rooms that allow for independent movement and remove the barriers typically found in traditional hotels. It will accommodate people of all abilities and build on lessons learned from previous highly accessible Morgan’s hotels.

By 2030, one in five Americans is expected to be of retirement age. The hotel will then serve both the aging population and guests with special needs. Larger guest rooms, convenient elevators and wider hallways are all hallmarks of the hotel’s design.

Morgan’s Hotel’s commitment to corporate responsibility not only enhances the guest experience, but also strengthens the brand reputation of partners who share these values. The San Antonio location will set a standard for future ultra-accommodating hotels and spark a cultural shift in the hospitality industry. Internationally recognized hotel chains such as Hilton, Marriott and Hyatt are currently negotiating with Hartman to be the first to brand this groundbreaking approach to accommodations.

Commitment to inclusion

Scheduled to open in 2026, Morgan’s Hotel will change the history of the multi-billion dollar hotel business, offering investors a unique opportunity to generate profits while making a positive impact on society.

The hotel aims to provide a feeling of security and acceptance to all guests. Special services are available, including trained staff in dealing with people with disabilities, assistance with the use of mobility aids and amenities such as sensory-sensitive lighting and colors and induction loops for hearing aids.

Hartman’s commitment to inclusion began in 2006 when he witnessed his daughter Morgan, who has special needs, being excluded from play while on vacation.

“Morgan’s Hotel will do for the hotel industry what our other venues have done – create spaces where everyone feels welcome and included,” adds Hartman.

Morgan’s Wonderland has its largest expansion for the 2024 season with a $6 million investment in new attractions. New features include a 4D cinema, a passenger boat ride, a zipline attraction called Rocket’s Sky Flight Adventure and a wheelchair-accessible attraction called Jette’s Magic Bikes.
