Comics Come Home returns for the 28th time with another banger lineup

When it comes to comedy shows for charity, Comics come home has set the standard in virtually every way: it’s the longest-running show of its kind, a huge resource to support the Cam Neely Foundation and those affected by cancer, and of course, it features the strongest lineups year after year. In keeping with that tradition, as if it were any surprise at all, the 28th edition of the show will be no exception.

Following a teaser earlier this week, the country’s longest-running comedy benefit has announced its return to TD Garden on Nov. 2 and unveiled this year’s full lineup of heavyweights on Tuesday (Aug. 20) during the event’s annual late-summer broadcast.

In addition to Denis Leary, this year’s cast will include some familiar faces such as Bill Burr, Robert Kelly, Lil’ Rel Howery and of course the ever-present Lenny Clarke, as well as some new faces in the show’s extensive all-star roster, including critically acclaimed comedian, actor and Daily Show Star Ronny Chieng, local star Alec Flynn, global social media comedy star Zarna Garg and all-star comedian and former Games with names The podcast’s co-host, Sam Morril, brings his own acclaimed brand of comedy to the show’s long-running history.

In some ways, it’s hard to top last year’s event, as the 2023 show not only boasted one of the most star-studded lineups Leary has ever assembled, but was also a celebration of the Boston Bruins and their 100th anniversary and an exclamation point in the history of the show that has brought some of the biggest names in comedy to town. But make no mistake, as Leary has shown in the past, nice surprises that put the cherry on top of the evening are never out of the question.

Tickets for this year’s festivities are now available for presale with code COMEDY before general sale begins on Thursday (August 22) at 10:00 a.m. ET.
