SOUTHWEST AIRLINES EXTENDS FLIGHT SCHEDULE UNTIL EARLY APRIL 2025

  • The airline offers a nonstop flight between Nashville and both Punta Cana and Cabo San Lucas/Los Cabos and between Sacramento And Puerto Vallarta from 8 March 2025*
  • Increased flight connections to support fans travelling to football matches in the autumn
  • Further strengthens the network with new seasonal and night flights

DALLAS, 22 August 2024 /PRNewswire/ — American Airlines Inc. (NYSE: LUV) today expanded its schedule, allowing customers to book travel through April 7, 2025. The airline is offering customers new flight options, including more international connections and additional flights to get customers to their favorite soccer games. The expanded schedule also includes additional seasonal and overnight flights.

Swimsuits and passports required
As Nashville’s largest airline, Southwest® is expanding its offering with a new weekly international service. Starting March 8, 2025, Southwest will offer Saturday service between:

Nashville And Cabo San Lucas/Los Cabos, Mexico*
Nashville And Punta Cana, Dominican Republic*

The international routes complement the existing offer between Nashville And CancunSouthwest also announced that Saturday service between Sacramento And Puerto Vallarta* on March 8, 2025.

New non-stop routes
Southwest also announced nonstop service beginning March 6, 2025 between:

Austin And Milwaukee (Weekdays)
Austin And Nevada, United States. (Less than daily)
Nashville And Indianapolis (Daily)
Sacramento, California. And Tucson, Arizona. (Weekends)

More flights for autumn fun
As the official airline of the Southeastern Conference (SEC), Southwest is proud to offer even more services so SEC fans can cheer on their favorite teams while on the go. In addition to previously announced flights to support football fans, the airline today launched service between Florida And Austin for an expected important SEC duel. These additional flights are now bookable between Tampa, Florida.And Austin on 7 and 10 November.

In response to customer demand, the airline is expanding its service offerings for college and professional football games this fall to include connections between:

Dallas And Lubbock, Texas (The game is on November 9th)
Omaha, Nebraska., And Los Angeles (LAX) (The game is on November 16th)
Columbus, Ohio, And Chicago (Halfway) (The game is on November 16th)
Cleveland And New Orleans for a Sunday game on 17 November

Southwest is also preparing to support one of the largest rodeos in the world, held annually in Las Vegas. The airline is adding seven flights to take rodeo fans to and from the big event between December 5 and 15. Customers can visit Southwest.com to find the itinerary that works best for you on your desired travel dates.

Flying overnight
With the introduction of night flights on February 13, 2025, the airline is offering more night flight options for travelers with today’s flight schedule extension. From March 6, 2025, travelers on night flights from Denver, San DiegoAnd Sacramento in addition to the already announced services of Las Vegas, Los AngelesAnd PhoenixCustomers are requested Southwest.com to check travel routes.

These flights and the airline’s full flight schedule until April 7, 2025 can be booked at Southwest.com.
