Questionnaires on jury duty are being sent out — “The Arlington Circuit Court, which includes the City of Falls Church, will soon begin its annual jury qualification process. Jury questionnaires will be mailed to approximately 35,000 randomly selected residents of Arlington County and the City of Falls Church in late August. These questionnaires will be used to qualify residents for jury duty beginning January 1, 2025, and ending December 31, 2025.” (Arlington County)

Office building in Rosslyn sold — “Brookfield Corp. has sold an IM Pei-designed office tower across the Potomac River from Washington, DC, for $143 million to the building’s largest tenant… energy company Venture Global LNG.” (CoStar)

Moderate job growth in Arlington – “Employment rose year-over-year in 300 of the 369 largest U.S. counties, according to new data. More funds for FC companies — “Falls Church-based Retension Pharmaceuticals Inc. has secured millions of dollars in funding to move a new treatment for high blood pressure through clinical trials and make it available to patients. The company said Wednesday that it has closed a $10.4 million Series A round of financing to fund a trial for its lead drug candidate designed to treat hypertension — or high blood pressure — that is resistant to other treatments.” (Washington Business Journal)
