Pennsylvania man pleads guilty to sexually abusing three children and posting explicit footage online

Brian Harris, 29, pleaded guilty to sexually abusing three children between the ages of 2 and 12 and publishing child sexual abuse material on the Internet.

A Pennsylvania man will spend years behind bars after prosecutors say he pleaded guilty to sexually abusing three children and distributing parts of the abuse online.

Brian Harris, 29, was arrested at his Bristol home last November after authorities said he shared child sexual abuse material on Snapchat.

Investigators said they found hundreds of similar explicit images on cell phones and other electronic devices seized from his home.

According to authorities, some of the videos show Harris inappropriately touching three victims, aged between two and 12.

The victims – two boys and a girl – were between 2 and 12 years old at the time of the abuse, investigators said.

Harris was accused of spreading child sexual abuse material on social media under several names.

“Sexual harassment is every parent’s worst fear,” said one of the victims’ mothers. “Usually it’s a news story about an anonymous child in the community. But Mr. Harris made it a reality for my child and my community.”

Harris was sentenced to 18 to 42 years in prison, three years’ probation, sex offender treatment and a psychiatric evaluation.
