6 luxury hotels with water parks

Imagine spending your vacation at a resort where the fun never stops and a water park is right outside your door. For families, this is a no-brainer—the kids can enjoy splash pools, lazy rivers, and thrilling slides without ever leaving the property. But let’s face it, adults like to have fun in bathing suits, too. These resorts with luxury water parks prove that the fun isn’t just for the little ones.

Whether you’re in the area and want to stop by on a day pass or you’re looking for a hotel with so many perks you won’t have to worry about an off-site itinerary, these properties with incredible water attractions make for an unforgettable getaway.

Rosewood Bahamas, Nassau, Bahamas

Baha Mar’s four-star oceanfront water park, Baha Bay, opened in July 2024. The 15-acre playground features 24 waterslides, a dueling water coaster, a 500,000-gallon wave pool, and a winding river. You’ll also find splash zones, mini waterslides for kids, and a beachfront infinity pool.

Ready to roll the dice and try your luck? Visit the open-air casino with stunning ocean views. Guests of the Grand Hyatt and SLS Baha Mar hotels also have access to Baha Mar water park. Limited day passes are also available to the public.

Conrad Orlando And Evermore Resort offers accommodation in Evermore, 2.7 km from Evermore Beach.

Opening in January 2024, this twin-unicorn resort offers endless accommodation options. At Conrad Orlando, you can choose an upscale hotel room or full-service suite, and at Evermore Resort, you can book a modern apartment or custom home (up to 11 bedrooms) with a full kitchen and laundry room—convenient for a wedding reception or multigenerational family vacation.

Guests have access to the heart of both resorts: the eight-acre Evermore Bay, a crystal-clear lagoon surrounded by white, silky sand. Paddleboards and kayaks are complimentary. There’s also a cool group slide and an old-fashioned rope swing. These two properties are just a 12-minute drive from Walt Disney World and are great options if you want beach-like amenities, plenty of restaurants, a spa, and more.

JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge Resort & Spa

This Forbes Travel Guide-recommended hotel has outdone itself with an $80 million renovation that includes the new Aquaridge Waterpark, opening in late 2023. The attraction includes a redesigned lazy river and Wildfire Grove, an area with two pools and a beautiful waterfall.

But the real highlight for little kids (and big ones, too) is Havasu Playground. Here you’ll find three new water slides, including Gullywasher—the only double-tube slide at a resort west of the Mississippi. It climbs a high, vertical wall and is guaranteed to provide thrills for anyone taller than 46 inches. There are also two enclosed tube slides, The Drop and Little Eddy. And when you need a break from the screaming, head to Sedona Springs’ luxurious hot tub area or the adults-only Sky Island experience. Day passes for non-guests are also available for purchase.

Aurora Anguilla Resort & Golf Club

Opening in January 2024, the new Entertainment Park at the four-star Aurora Anguilla Resort & Golf Club is a 600,000-gallon paradise. The centerpiece of the luxurious water park is a shimmering, lagoon-like, zero-entry pool, perfect for a leisurely dip in the beach-like oasis.

For daredevils, two spiral slides and a flying saucer slide provide thrills. If you prefer to relax with a piña colada, you can hop on an inner tube and float down the 420-meter lazy river. For the little ones, there are small slides, squirt guns, fountains and even a water cannon in the paddling pool.

The Boca Raton Beach Club

The five-star Boca Raton Beach Club, one of five hotels in the Boca Raton resort complex, underwent a renovation in December 2024. As part of this redesign, the resort’s Harborside Pool Club was transformed into a spacious lakefront oasis where you can whizz down two five-story waterslides, float on the 480-foot lazy river or catch a wave on the FlowRider.

An adults-only pool offers ultimate relaxation with luxurious cabanas (including one Ferrari-themed), while the family pool promises endless fun for the whole group. Younger children can explore a pirate ship-shaped splash zone, while teens hang out at The Break and play virtual reality games.

Atlantis, The Palm And Atlantis The Royal, Dubai

Between these sister properties lies the world’s largest water park. Aquaventure Waterpark offers plenty of entertainment for the whole family with over 105 slides and attractions. Thrill-seekers can look forward to the Leap of Faith, where you’ll whizz down a nearly vertical 30-metre slide that shoots you through a clear tube surrounded by cownose rays and sharks, and Poseidon’s Revenge, an adrenaline-fuelled slide with a trapdoor entrance that sends you 116 metres down.

Or opt for the family-friendly Shark Attack, where you float through a fiberglass tunnel surrounded by sharks, the River Rapids, the region’s longest river, or the world’s largest kids’ zone.
