(MENAFN- Live Mint) Marathi folklore-inspired horror comedy film Munjya is now available for online streaming. The Bollywood film directed by Aditya Sarpotdar released in June. It features actors like Sharvari, Abhay Verma, Mona Singh and Sathyaraj. Check where and how to watch it online on OTT.

Disney+ Hotstar, in a social media post on August 23, stated that the film is now available for streaming on its platform. The update was shared via an Instagram post that featured a moving poster of Sharvari and Abhay Verma. In the film, Sharvari plays the role of Bella, also known as Munni.
Munjya is part of the horror-comedy universe of Dinesh Vijan, the founder of Maddock Films. Other films in this universe include Stree and Bhediya.
Stree 2, a sequel to the original, is doing well in theatres. The film, which also stars Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, has already grossed Rs 485 crore worldwide, according to Sacnilk.

According to reports, Bhediya 2 is also in the works. The original film starred Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon in the lead roles, with Abhishek Banerjee acting as a link between Stree 2 and Bhediya.
Munjya, the latest entry in Dinesh Vijan’s horror comedy universe, grossed Rs 125 crore worldwide despite its production budget being around Rs 50 crore.
Varun Dhawan’s update
Varun Dhawan previously advised his fans to stay for the post-credit scene in the film Munjya. He posted a short video in which his character Bhaskar from Bhediya blends in with his surroundings by using leaves and taking cover behind a rock.

Another character, Janardhan, played by Banerjee, helps by getting some clothes for Bhaskar.
Now we know that the scene is from Street 2 where Dhawan makes a special appearance as Bhaskar. Jana is there to help him with the clothes.
