Negasonic Teenage Warhead gets her own comic one-shot from writer Andrew Wheeler and artist Eleonora Carlini.
Negasonic Teenage Warhead was created by Grant Morrison And Frank Quitelya mutated Marvel comic character who first appeared in New X-Men #115 by Cassandra Nova in Genoshan Genocide. Named after the song by Monster Magnet, she was created as a character for the Dead Pool Movie, simply because she had a cool sounding name and was played by Brianna Hildebrand. She returned to play the character in Deadpool 2 And Deadpool and Wolverine.
In the comic, she was revived and redesigned to be closer to the film. As a reality-warping mutant, she received a digital Marvel Voices Infinity comic arc by former Bleeding Cool columnist and last editor-in-chief of the Comics Alliance, Andreas Rader and artists Eleanor Carlini. That storyline will now be printed in November, along with a new, previously unpublished story from the same team, in which Negasonic Teenage Warhead joins forces with Deadpool against the TVA “in the name of love.”
“Ellie Phimister is under arrest! When the Time Variance Authority accuses Negasonic Teenage Warhead of a crime she hasn’t yet committed, she must escape to stop herself before the TVA does. It all hinges on a single moment, a decision Future Ellie must face… That means Present Ellie has one hour to find Yuki Ohara, her friend from the future she’s never met, kiss her, and save the multiverse. Luckily, she has allies like – wait, no. Deadpool will NOT be helpful. Is anyone else available?”
Could this indicate that there is more Negasinuic Teenage Warhead to come? Or is it just a way to wrap up what has been created so far? Maybe someone at D23 should ask…
