Aeromexico offers flights between Cancun and Miami – Aviacionline

Aeromexicoin alliance with its joint venture partner Delta Air Lineswill begin nonstop service between Cancun and Miami in the 2024/2025 winter season.

This new service complements Aeromexico’s existing Miami operation, which will offer five daily flights from Mexico City. In total, the airline will offer four connections to East Florida and also offers flights to Orlando and Tampa from the Mexican capital.

According to statistics from the Mexican Civil Aviation Authority (AFAC), 567,971 passengers and 3,885.1 tons of cargo were transported on 4,133 flights between Cancun and Miami in 2023. Currently, American Airlines is the only airline operator in this segment.

  • Flight AM427: MIA 07:55 – CUN 09:55 Daily flightp.

The route will be operated with Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft, which can accommodate 166 passengers: 16 Premier Class, 12 AM Plus and 132 Economy Class, which will also feature a comprehensive entertainment system and high-speed Wi-Fi connectivity. In total, the Mexican airline will offer approximately 140 weekly arrivals and departures in Florida, which corresponds to an offer of up to 24,500 seats per week.

This new service to the United States is the result of an alliance with Delta Air Lines aimed at improving connections between the United States and Mexico. With the opening of the route between Cancun and Miami, the Aeromexico-Delta partnership operates a total of more than 65 routes between Mexico and the United States, with more than 180 departures and arrivals daily, representing an average of 31,000 seats per day.
