PRWeeks Advisory Board for the Middle East Power Book announced

The PRWeek Middle East Power Book is an annual project aimed at identifying the most influential communications professionals in the dynamic and thriving region.

The 2024 version is expected to be the largest and most comprehensive yet, with the launch event set to take place in November.

To this end, PRWeek is appointing a new advisory board to help the editorial team identify the region’s most talented communications professionals, both on the client side and at consulting firms.

The Advisory Board currently consists of Kate Midttun, Managing Director and Founder of Acorn Strategy, Omar Qirem, Managing Director of Edelman Middle East, and Sarah Walker-Kerr, Director of Corporate Affairs IMEA at InterContinental Hotels & Resorts.

PRWeek is currently seeking submissions for its sixth Middle East Power Book. If you are selected for this year’s Power Book, you will be invited to a special launch event in Dubai in the fall.

To be considered for the 2024 Power Book, sponsored by Silver Partner Action Global and Lead Partner Edelman, please submit your details or nominate people you think should be featured in the Middle East Power Book.

Click here to submit your details or nominate other senior communications professionals. The nomination period ends on September 18, 2024.

To meet the criteria, candidates must be based in the Middle East and North Africa.

For PR consultancies, the candidate should hold the highest position, such as CEO or managing director. For large agencies, senior directors are also an option.

Leading communications consultants in specialist sectors such as luxury, sports and technology are also eligible to participate.

PRWeek will select nominees and then send invitations to successful candidates to complete a questionnaire and participate in the 2024 Power Book.

Danny Rogers, PRWeek EMEA Editor-in-Chief, said: “I am very pleased to announce our new Middle East Advisory Board, which includes representatives from consulting firms and client communications of varying sizes.

“We will look to add new members in the coming weeks. We are very grateful to these professionals who can help us manage and improve our coverage of this most exciting region of the global communications market.”
