The Washington Commanders seem to be one of the teams that could use some help after the recent cuts on the NFL waiver list.
These Commanders continue to undergo a major program restructuring under new head coach Dan Quinn, the most recent highlight being the surprise sale of a first-round pick.
There are also obvious problems throughout the squad. The offensive line in front of Jayden Daniels is a question mark. This also applies to the weapons other than Terry McLaurin at wide receiver and the secondary does not look particularly convincing.
Fortunately for the Commanders, after trimming the roster to 53 players on Tuesday, they have until noon ET Wednesday to file for waivers. Released players with at least four accumulated seasons go directly to free agency, while players with fewer than four accumulated seasons must file for waivers. Should they file for waivers, they also go to free agency.
