Brittany Mahomes has more to say to her critics.

Amid the heated reaction to Mahomes, 28, on social media – sparked after she reportedly liked an Aug. 13 post by former President Donald Trump – the Kansas City Currents owner posted a response to her first message to the haters.

In a repost of her Instagram stories on August 26, Mahomes shared another user’s post that said, “Contrary to the tone of the world today… you can disagree with someone and still love them. You can have different views and still be kind.”

Under the repost, Mahomes wrote: “Read that again!”

Although she did not specify exactly what her message was aimed at, this pointed story appeared just days after she shared a similar sentiment on Instagram.

Mahomes’ Aug. 24 post consisted of a block of text that read, “To be a hater as an adult, you must have deep-rooted issues that you have refused to heal since childhood. There is no reason your brain is fully developed and you hate when others are doing well.”

Above the message, the wife of NFL superstar Patrick Mahomes added: “I mean, honestly.”

The post in question is reportedly a graphic featuring the “2024 GOP Platform,” which lists 20 of Trump’s obvious campaign themes as he faces Vice President Kamala Harris in the presidential race, including “keeping men out of women’s sports,” “securing our elections,” and “deporting pro-Hamas radicals and making our college campuses safe and patriotic.”

Some social media users said they were not surprised by Mahomes’ support for Trump. Others – including fan accounts dedicated to Mahomes’ girlfriend Taylor Swift – shared their disappointment with her stance.

Patrick and Brittany have endured a tumultuous offseason since the Chiefs quarterback won his third Super Bowl ring in February. In July, the couple announced they were expecting their third child together.

Most recently, they spent the weekend at Swift’s Rhode Island home at a star-studded gathering including Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Bradley Cooper, Gigi Hadid and Mahomes’ teammate (and Swift’s boyfriend) Travis Kelce.
