The Kimpton Santo is located at 431 S. Alamo, on the former site of a 19th-century English-German school.

The luxury Kimpton Santo hotel in San Antonio is offering huge discounts on food to celebrate its opening this Thursday.

From Thursday through Sunday, August 29 through September 30, guests will receive half off their total bill at any meal at Dean’s Steak and Seafood in the downtown hotel. The two-story, 207-seat restaurant features an oyster bar and a specially designed private wine room.

Dean’s Steak and Seafood also offers guests buy-one-bottle-free appetizers and $1 bottles of champagne during Saturday and Sunday brunch. The discounted sparkling wine is limited to one bottle per party of two.

Those heading up to Kimpton Santo’s Tenfold Rooftop Bar will receive 50% off their next meal by redeeming a coupon that will be delivered in the form of a postcard with the bill for their first meal. Guests have until September 30 to redeem the coupon.

“We’ve had the pleasure of introducing Kimpton Santo to influencers, travel experts and local leaders for over a month of behind-the-scenes tours. It’s truly inspiring to bring this amazing property to the people of San Antonio,” General Manager Lynn Snyder said in a statement. “With our opening month deals and special offers, we want everyone in San Antonio to experience the exceptional service and cuisine we’ve all been waiting for.”

Located at 431 S. Alamo St., where downtown and Southtown meet, the 347-room hotel is named in honor of St. Anthony and is housed in a former 19th-century Anglo-German school, incorporating elements of the campus into the hotel’s design.
