The OnePlus Open Apex Edition, the newest member of the OnePlus Open series, is now available in the new Crimson Shadow color.
The new color is inspired by the classic OnePlus red shade and is also a special homage to the Hasselblad 503CW 60 Years Victor Red Edition. It is achieved by mixing subtle tones of luxurious materials such as leather. It is a darker, almost veiled shade. The phone also features a premium vegan leather back and features a diamond-like pattern and bright orange accent on the Alert Slider, as well as a light-reflecting CD pattern on the camera dial, encased in a luxurious glass dome.
The OnePlus Open Apex Edition comes with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage and comes with a VIP mode that can be activated via the OnePlus Alert Slider. Activating the slider puts the phone into VIP mode and locks the security chip to create a secure and private environment where all of the phone’s microphones and cameras are disabled and ad tracking is severely restricted using chip-level permission encryption supported by the secure chip. VIP mode also prevents chat information from being viewed or recorded by apps without permission.
The phone comes with AI-powered photo editing features like AI Smart Cutout, which lets you capture objects from images to create custom stickers or save them for a creative photo. Improved subject detection technology ensures multiple people and objects are identified and isolated more accurately, enabling a seamless editing experience.
