John De La Cruz, age 67, passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS. His viewing will be on Saturday, August 31, 2024, from 12:30 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. His funeral service will be at 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Father Aldolfo Suarez officiating under the direction of Wolf Funeral Services.
John was born to Candelario De La Cruz and Elisa Vasquez on September 27, 1956 in St. Paul, MN. He lived in Forest, MS for the last seven years. John was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Madelia, MN. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and was a huge Minnesota Vikings fan. John enjoyed spending time with his family. He also loved working on his truck and helping people in need. John had retired from Koch Foods as a human resources manager.
John’s sister, Mary Aguilera, predeceased him. He is survived by his wife, Ma Del Carmen De La Cruz of Forest, MS; his daughter, Johanna De La Cruz of Forest, MS; his two sons, Ruben Treviño Perales of Mexico and John Isai (Briselda) De La Cruz of Forest, MS; his four sisters, Rebecca Rojas of Minnesota, Esther Hernandez of Minnesota, Ernestina Marin of Minnesota, and Christina Lira of Iowa; his brother, Eligio De La Cruz of Minnesota; and numerous nieces and nephews.
