All in all, we will see on Wednesday evening 184 delegations: 4,400 Paralympic athletes take part in the parade along the The Champs-Elysées to the stadium at Place de la Concorde.
But in what order will the delegations appear? As with the Olympic Games and to ensure equality among the participating nations, the delegations march in alphabetical order (respecting the spelling of the names in the language of the host country). The French delegation is the last group: the 237 athletes are led by flag bearers Alexis Hanquinquant (Para-Triathlon) and Nantenin Keita (Para-athletics).
