Obituary for Nina Hagen (2024) – Cranberry, PA

Nina Hagen, age 93, passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2024. She was a resident of Cranberry Township, formerly of Greensburg. Nina was married for 56 wonderful years to Oskar Hagen, who passed away in 2014. She was the loving mother of Linda (Joe Kalinoski) Hagen and Brian (Christy) Hagen and the loving grandmother of Garrett and Gavin Hagen and Nikita, Nickolai and Diana Kalinoski. Nina was a long time member of New Community Church. Some of her fondest memories and lifelong friendships are tied to that congregation. The family welcomes friends on Sunday, August 11, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at SCHELLHAAS FUNERAL HOME, 1600 Stone Mansion Drive, Rt. 910, Sewickley, PA 15143 (Franklin Park/Wexford). A service will follow the viewing, also at the funeral home, beginning at 4 p.m. Private burial will be Monday at Pinewood Memorial Park in Cranberry Township, where Nina will finally be reunited with her beloved “Os.” Those who knew Nina know that she dedicated her life to serving humanity, with a special passion for helping our U.S. veterans and caring for those in need. Her two favorite nonprofits were: Light of Life Rescue Mission (a Christian nonprofit dedicated to caring for and housing the area’s homeless) and Tunnel to Towers (a national nonprofit dedicated to building housing for injured veterans and first responders). In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to LightofLife.org and T2T.org. Please express your appreciation at www.schellhaasfh.com. To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
