NILES, Michigan (WNDU) – The city of Niles said a boil water order has been issued for some residents.
According to official information, the second water sample taken in August was positive for coliform bacteria.
After flushing the fire hydrants in the district, samples were taken again from both wells and from the site of the first positive finding. Officials still found E. coli bacteria.
