A fat loss coach reveals what to order at Chick-fil-A as a high-protein, low-calorie treat for weight loss: “Perfect”

Fast food often gets a bad rap when it comes to health and nutrition, but with the right choices, it’s possible to enjoy a meal that’s in line with your weight loss goals. Chick-fil-A, known for its high-quality ingredients and customer service, offers several menu options that are both high in protein and low in calories. These meals can help you stick to your diet without sacrificing taste or convenience.

TikTok creator Josh New, MS, RD, CSSD, CSCS, with over 249,000 followers on the app, shared a unique Chick-fil-A order that contains 35 grams of protein and 540 calories!

High Protein, Low Calorie Chick-fil-A Order

New says he orders a grilled chicken club sandwich but removes the buns to save 210 calories. He throws the buns away and puts the remaining chicken and toppings back in the bag. He drizzles the sweet and spicy Sriracha sauce into the bag and gives it a good shake.

Here’s where things take an interesting turn. New takes another sweet and spicy Sriracha sauce and drizzles it over a small tub of soft serve ice cream from Chick-fil-A!

“It’s the ultimate fast food combination,” he says.

The grilled chicken is a good source of lean protein, which is essential for maintaining muscle mass and promoting satiety, both of which are important for weight loss. Plus, the use of the sweet and spicy Sriracha sauce adds flavor without adding a significant number of calories, especially when used in moderation.

And by skipping the bun, you can save calories in a simple but effective way while still enjoying the protein-rich chicken and toppings.

Chick-fil-A’s soft serve ice cream, even with sauce, contains added sugar and calories that may not be compatible with a strict weight-loss plan, but skipping the buns allows you to enjoy your favorite desserts without feeling restricted. While it’s a creative and tasty addition, this part of the meal could be considered more of a treat than a regular part of your order.

Occasionally enjoying this unique high-protein yet low-calorie combination can be part of a balanced approach!
